This luxury Camps Bay mansion rental is located in an exclusive part of Camps Bay, and is within five minutes walk of the famous beach, stylish bars and restaurants, as well as a short, ten minute drive to Cape Town’s CBD.

Aquatic Penthouse and Villa, this Camps Bay mansion rental has a total of five bedrooms and five bathrooms, and you have the option of renting the accommodation as a whole, or separately, as a three bedroom house or two bedroom penthouse with lift access. This Camps Bay mansion rental is perfect for large families or groups.

The modern interior of this Camps Bay mansion rental is decorated in clean lines and sea-inspired, calming tones, whilst the vast outdoor areas and terraces are comfortably furnished with daybeds, loungers and sofas; perfect for gazing out over the immense Atlantic ocean while enjoying a sun-downer with friends. Enjoy a revitalising work-out in the property’s sea-facing gym, or take a dip in the ten by four metre swimming pool. The villa’s five double bedrooms are very spacious and each of them has their own en-suite bathroom.

Please note: This Camps Bay mansion rental does not accept children under six years of age; please see exceptions noted at the bottom of this page.

This Camps Bay mansion rental is a three storey, 900 square metre property with five bedrooms in total (described in detail below).

There are two living rooms, two fully equipped kitchens, and two dining areas with dining for fourteen people, including two breakfast bars that seat three each. There is heating and air conditioning in both living areas, as well as a gas fireplace for cold winter nights. There is also a guest bathroom.

The Camps Bay mansion rental boasts two plasma TV’s with DSTV (satellite) and DVD players.

Each level of this amazing mansion enjoys outstanding ocean views.

The balcony and other outdoor entertainment areas of this Camps Bay mansion rental add up to approximately 288 square metres. With ten sun loungers, a sunning deck for two, and ample benches on the terraces, there is plenty of room to relax. The indigenous garden offers a variety of home-grown herbs for cooking, while the two swimming pools (one 10 by 4 metre and one 5 by 2 metre plunge pool) allow you to cool off during the sweltering summer days. There is also a built-in gas braai / barbeque.

The Camps Bay mansion rental has a telephone, computer and WiFi internet. A laundry room with washing machine and clothes dryer is available, as well as housekeeping, garden and pool services; all of this ensures that your holiday is spent relaxing and having fun.

All floors have elevator access and the entire property is protected by an alarm system, security cameras and beams.

A garage is available for three cars plus additional off-street parking for another three cars.

There are a few child safety issues regarding unprotected balconies and steps. We do not recommend this villa to guests with toddlers.

If you choose to rent the three bedroom house only, the first bedroom and bathroom, located on the second floor, have an approximate floor area of 52 square metres. There is king size bed with en-suite shower and bath. A fireplace adds to the intimacy of the room.

A covered balcony leads off the room and offers exquisite ocean views. For added comfort, the room has a cooling and heating unit as well as under-floor heating in the bathroom.

The second bedroom, also on the second level, measures 52 square metres, and contains a king size bed with en-suite shower and bath. As with the first bedroom, this one has heating and air-conditioning, as well as under-floor heating in the bathroom. Leading off the room is a covered balcony with a daybed, which has magnificent views of the ocean and Lions Head.

The third bedroom, situated on the first level, has a floor area measuring 35 square metres, and contains a king size bed with an en-suite shower. This room also has air conditioning / heating and under-floor heating in the bathroom. This bedroom opens onto a garden courtyard with stunning views of Lion’s Head.

The outdoor balcony and entertainment areas measure approximately 225 square metres and the private swimming pool measures 10 x 4 metres. There is dining room for twelve guests, plus eight loungers and plenty of benches for relaxing in the sun.

The two bedroom penthouse measures roughly 300 square metres and includes bedrooms four and five.

The fourth bedroom, located on the second floor has a floor area of forty-four square metres. It has a king size bed with en-suite shower and bath, plus under-floor heating. A private patio is accessible from the bedroom and boasts beautiful views of the garden and mountain.

The fifth bedroom is situated on the third floor, and measures forty-four square metres. It too, has a king size bed and an en-suite bath and shower. Access to a balcony with gorgeous views of the Twelve Apostles mountain range and Lions Head will make you feel as if you’re a million miles away from anywhere.

The balcony / entertainment area measures approximately sixty-three square metres, and there is a roof garden, plus a five by two metre plunge pool with two sun loungers and bench seating on the terrace.

Please note: Villa CB 144 does not accept children under 6, due to safety issues such as open stairways, steep drops from terraces, and uncovered swimming pools. In general, this villa is not all that child friendly as it is decorated in light colours, has high king size beds as well as open bathrooms. It is, therefore, more suitable for couples and older children.

CB 144 may consider permitting a single child under two years of age as a guest, as parents tend to keep a more careful watch on “only” children. Single children under the age of six may be permitted to stay if accompanied by a nanny, or two children over six years old.

As a rule, we do not permit more than two children at a time to stay at the Camps Bay mansion rental, as the likelihood of accidents, and wear and tear are then higher.
